Gettin’ whooped at Guitar Hero III

My friend’s son here is 12 and I’m… not. He’s consistently getting 90%+ on the Hard level of GHIII, and I’m… not. Here I am in the midst of getting killed on “Welcome to the Jungle” and don’t even ask me about “Rock You Like a Hurricane” … Of course, I used to play lead in a band that actually *played* the Scorps… Nor was he watching them at Monsters of Rock ‘86 in Mannheim Germany… heh heh.

Digital Storytelling Makeshop scheduled

Create a digital, personal narrative that can be shown on DVD or posted to the Web. The makeshop attendees will utilize modern, easy-to-use software in constructing their digital stories, including scanning of photos and documents, digitizing videos, writing and recording a voiceover script, using music and editing it all together. It will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday November 2nd and Friday November 9th at the New Design Center 572 W. 6th Street in Fayetteville, AR.
