Local artist/BFA student exhibiting work

FAYETTEVILLE, AR, August 11, 2009 – The Fayetteville Underground will host Supremacy and Myth from September 2 through September 27, 2009.

Supremacy and Myth is an exhibition of photographs by Thomas Krapausky. The works on display explore the strains of human activity on a constantly recovering natural world.

Krapausky’s photographs emphasize the “hidden worlds” that we pass by every day, but rarely notice. His unique and sometimes abstract work has received multiple awards, has been displayed in juried exhibitions, and has been published on an international level.

The Fayetteville Underground is located in One East Square Plaza on the Town Square in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Gallery hours are noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Opening receptions are the first Thursday of every month from 5 – 8 p.m. The public is welcome to meet the artists and view resident artist’s studios.
